Bromo

Bromo is a volcanic complex located in East Java, Indonesia. It is part of the Tengger massif and has become a popular tourist destination in East Java and is part of the Bromo-Tengger-Semeru National Park. In this complex, there are stainless steel misting kits implemented because of the hot weather in Indonesia. Because of this, the guests visiting this place can always stay cool while enjoying the view.

This beautiful place is famous for its active volcano with three peaks: Mount Bromo (the highest at 2,329m), Mount Batok (the second highest at 2,271m), and Mount Kursi (the lowest at 2,265m). When Mount Bromo erupts it usually happens after sunset or before sunrise when there are no tourists around.

Mount Batur

Mount Batur is a stratovolcano in the Batur caldera, which was formed by the collapse of a volcano. Mount Batur has been active since at least 1533, when it erupted and killed 60 people. The most recent eruption of Mount Batur occurred in February 2018 after several months of volcanic activity in the area. A large explosion was heard from as far away as Denpasar, while hot clouds descended upon other parts of southern Indonesia. It’s estimated that this eruption released about 1 cubic kilometer (0.24 cu mi) of magma into the atmosphere—that’s enough material to fill over 100 Olympic swimming pools!

Mount Batur is located in Badung Regency on the island of Bali in Indonesia; it sits just north-east from another famous tourist attraction: Kintamani Volcano (or Gunung Agung).

Lake Toba

Lake Toba is located in North Sumatra and is the largest volcanic lake in the world. It’s also known as the largest volcanic crater lake in the world, which makes it a pretty big deal. Lake Toba is also Indonesia’s largest freshwater lake, containing an estimated 2 trillion cubic meters of water—which means that if you’re looking for somewhere to swim, this is your place. Lake Toba’s volcanic caldera was formed after its massive eruption about 75,000 years ago and has since been filled with water from rainfall and runoff from rivers nearby.

If you’re planning to visit Lake Toba and want to calculate the cost of a mortgage for a nearby property, you can use an NC mortgage calculator to get an estimate.

Gili islands are located in the Lombok strait, between Sulawesi and Bali. The three main Gili islands are Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, and Gili Air.
